Claudia Lerario is a menswear and womenswear designer who grew up in Florence. Driven by the curiosity of exploring a multicultural city, she moved to London at the age of 20. In 2022, she graduated in Fashion from London Metropolitan University. Claudia's aesthetic inclination has always been towards androgynous beauty, which has shaped her unique style: an unconventional blend of different prints, deadstock fabrics, and minimalistic cuts influenced by her memories of family life in Italy during the 80s and 90s, as well as sportswear.
The brand name "Leclò" is a fusion of Claudia's surname, Lerario, and a childhood nickname given by her friends, Clòddy.
Leclò aims to merge Claudia's Florentine heritage with a playful touch, a positive mindset, and a commitment to sustainability. Each print carries its own captivating story, reflecting the brand's focus on storytelling.
Leclò's creative vision draws inspiration from various sources, including mythologies, literature, electronic music, ceramics, tiles, and memories from Claudia's family in Italy. Claudia handcrafts each piece in London, using fabrics sourced from Florence. Infused with cultural and artistic references, the label aims to convey the stories behind each print, adding depth and meaning to the designs.
